Juni and Emily brought with them their kitchen equipment, including the coffee maker, and a lot of food and fruits, including tuna sashimi, chicken and pork barbecue, inihaw na isda, KFC fried chicken, and some more whose name I do not know; and wines of various labels. The American is Sam, boyfriend of Audra. |

Fe
Hi Fe! What a truly happy occasion for those who came to the Buelo in Laguna. Thank you so much Roger for coordinating the event and hosting it.
This is the way to spend our twilight years having so much laughter and fun with lots of drinks, an assortment of foods galore, meryenda and great bonding with batchmates and some members of their family.
The joy of seeing some of our batchmates again in good health is a precious moment. We missed Felix and those who could not attend.
Oh yes Fe, I got another year older. Certified 65 years old na talaga. How the years have passed so quickly and gone forever. But we must rejoice for we are all still alive and kicking.
We must not take another day for granted and thank our creator for allowing us to still hang around this earth in good health. Each day, I always look out and check out the sceneries, the beauty of nature, the sky and all the beautiful things God created which makes life exciting.
Yes Fe, we all had a good time and I am sure Mon had some Videos of the event to show our group. take care and have fun always.

Vic was told red wine is good for the heart (he had a quadruple bypass) and so he initiated the first round of red wine drinking. Being as gullible as Vic, all of us took to the red wine. |

Emily prepares the inviting dish of deep=fried hipon. Eve takes a bite and instantly got these "allergies" on her face (Zoom the photo and you will see. Joke lang ;-) ) Eve retired last July and she says it took her several weeks to adjust to the enjoyable life of a retiree.

Vic: Nilagay sa harapan niya ang big bottle of red wine so he won't forget the red wine that is good for our hearts. |

Look at Roger and Boy: they do not observe the rule -- wag magturo nang magturo baka yong engkanto ang maituro mo at lagnatin ka, at kelangan pang isangtegwar ng herbolario para gumaling |

| Juni and Emily brought bottles of wine and they have their use other than for social drinking: they are good props for framing subjects like Eve and Arthur. | |||||

Early goodbyes for some: Lina and Carmen and Vic had to leave early. before evening... maybe for their early beauty sleeps ;-) |

But we continued the chit chat up to 8 PM because there was still wine and pulutan |

It took me 3 hours to reach the place by aircon bus from our home near the QC/Montalban border. Thur and Eve must have spent 4 hours of travel from Malolos Bulacan. Juni came from Imus, Cavite and may have travelled the same hours. We all reached the Pacita area around noon. But the event was worth the long trips. |

My wife Bing could not attend the party because she had a class to teach. I wanted to bring home something for her so I was not shy about asking Emily if I could bring home some of the extra chicken barbecue and inihaw na isda. She suggested I should also bring home the unconsumed red wine, to which I heartily agreed. Eve also suggested the Bicol Express they brought with them.
So, at breakfast today, we had the barbecue and fish, and for lunch we will have the Bicol Express, and tonite we start with the red wine, which should last us an entire month.
Thank you Emily, Thank you Eve! Ayos ang buong linggo namin ni Bing. It is only in Pinas where a party is also a take out counter. Wala nito sa Amerika ;-)
Parang gusto kong kantahin itong Seven Daffodils ng The Brothers Four, sang when they were already in their 60s kaya with much feeling na ang pagkanta nila. Ang awiting ito ay dedicated sa lahat ng mga tumatandang romantics, kahit walang aamin na tumatanda na silang mga romantiko..
