Alan and Josie are in town for their annual supplies sourcing for their stores in Los Angeles. Alan called us up in the morning and we met with him for a Kapihan at the Gateway Mall's Max Restaurant in the evening. Present were Arthur, Mon and Roger. Max was in Batangas. Junie and Felix were not available.

Alan and Josie are our fiest visitors for year 2009.

We had a very enjoyable evening,  from 6 in the evening up to the closing hours of the mall at 10. That was probably because of interesting topics that included the US recession and its new president.

But the most interesting topic was the idea of RP-based classmates going on a US tour after the golden anniversary in 2011 and before everybody turns 70. I am personally excited about it and I certainly look forward to a trip "from California, to the New York Island and from the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters." Roger and Arthur were equally agitated by the idea. I guess, if Max were there, he would be in the dream trip, too.
